EJCBA 2023 Professionalism Seminar

Judicial Perspectives: Does Professionalism Vary Among Practice Areas?

The Professionalism Seminar will commence with a panel discussion of professionalism in four distinct areas of the law – civil trial, civil non-trial, criminal, and family law.  The panelists include Circuit Judge William E. Davis, Circuit Judge Robert K. Groeb, Circuit Judge Donna M. Keim and County Judge Kristine Van Vorst who will offer insight as to their observations of professionalism between attorneys, before the court, and toward clients.  These perspectives will shed light on the commonalities and differences in the level of professionalism judges observe in these four different practice areas with the goal of increasing professionalism across all areas.
