Program:  Why Prestige Isn’t Enough: Insights from Large-Scale
Research on Legal Careers

Join us via Zoom on Friday, February 6, 2026, to hear Professor Lawrence S. Krieger share major takeaways from his vitally important empirical research on lawyer satisfaction, wellness, and happiness. Professor Krieger’s books on these topics have been used at more than half of the law schools in the United States, Canada, and Australia. His unique, effective teaching style led Larry to be featured as one of only twenty-six law professors in What the Best Law Teachers Do (Harvard University Press, 2013). He currently teaches, co-directs the externship programs, and supervises the criminal justice externships at the Florida State University College of Law. Professor Krieger litigated criminal, civil, administrative, and bankruptcy cases, handling more than 40,000 cases before refocusing his career on academia.

Program is approved for 1.0 General and 1.0 of Mental Health and Wellness credit.

Webcast is free for members and $15 for non-members.
